We are looking for Trainees to join us within Business, Technology, and Strategy consulting for autumn 2026! 

We are seeking several Trainees to support our professionals in the following competency areas: 

• Enterprise Performance Management professionals provide solutions to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and drive digital transformation across business functions. Our consultants offer services in financial consolidation and planning, performance reporting, and S&OP, using tools like OneStream and Anaplan.  

• CFO Advisory helps clients in finance initiatives from strategy to execution. Team's projects are related to finance operating model design e.g. organization- and process development, change management and cultural change as well as finance architecture and treasury.

• ERP team helps clients throughout their strategic ERP initiatives, managing ERP implementation programs as well as delivering large SAP S/4HANA based global business transformations. 

• Financial Services professionals help companies operating in the banking & insurance field by navigating the changing landscape of the FS industry. Our consultants work with topics such as anti-financial crime, risk management, regulatory advisory, sustainability reporting, cards & payments and core banking & insurance transformations. 

• Digital & Strategy team is passionate about digital transformation that generates new business models and shakes the fundamentals of our clients’ businesses. The team defines winning strategies, identifies growth opportunities, and supports clients to transform their businesses to seize the opportunities of digitalization.  

• Data & Analytics experts succeed in making insight-driven decisions by exploiting the full potential of data with modern tools such as Azure, AWS, R, SAS, Python, SQL. The team specializes in AI, data management & data governance, data engineering, advanced analytics, and data visualization, driving innovation through intelligent automation and machine learning.

As a Trainee, you’ll work across one or more of our competency areas, supporting client engagements and contributing to internal business development projects and AI initiatives. Our Trainees have also had a role in conducting various studies connected to our service offering. Our traineeships are full-time positions starting in early September 2026 and typically last around four months. On the first day at BearingPoint, you’ll begin your Trainee journey with an onboarding day alongside fellow Trainees. Many of our Trainees have also continued their careers with us—either right after the Trainee period or later after graduation.

We are looking for: 

• Ongoing University studies in a relevant field (e.g., business and/or technology), with estimated graduation preferably during 2026-2027

• Ability to approach problems in an analytical and structured way 

• Genuine interest in consulting, great team spirit and motivation to elevate your skills in a consulting environment 

• Good skills in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)

• Interest in learning about AI and some prior knowledge or experience in leveraging AI tools

• Fluent communications skills in Finnish and English (written and spoken) 

• In addition, relevant work experience related to our service offering is considered an advantage

Recruitment process:

Our Trainee recruitment process begins with a light assessment test, followed by two interview rounds to get to know each other better. The first interview focuses on discussing BearingPoint traineeship alongside your skills and interests, while the second interview includes a case exercise and a discussion of your ways of working.
